Andrà in onda stasera 8
gennaio 2017, sulla rete televisiva statunitense NBC, Ia 74esima edizione dei Golden
Globe, il premio che ogni anno è assegnato ai migliori film e show
televisivi dall’associazione della stampa estera di Hollywood.
Il 12
dicembre scorso sono state annunciate tutte le nomination, e quest’anno la
pellicola che sembra avere più possibilità di raccogliere il maggior numero di premi
è La La Land, di Damien Chazelle, un musical contemporaneo con
protagonisti Emma Stone e Ryan Gosling. Oltre alla candidatura dei due
protagonisti, è in lizza per il premio come miglior film nella categoria commedie, miglior sceneggiatura, miglior regista, migliore colonna sonora e
miglior canzone.
Tra i film drammatici – ai
Globes, a differenza degli Oscar, esiste questa differenziazione –, molto
quotato è Moonlight, di Barry Jenkins, storia di un ragazzo
omosessuale in tre diverse fasi della sua vita.
Grande attesa anche per i premi riservati alle serie tv, che
quest’anno vedranno tra i candidati produzioni come Westworld, The People v. O.J.
Simpson: American Crime Story, The
Night Of, Stranger Things e l’ormai classico Game of
Thrones.
Delusione per quanto riguarda l’Italia: nessun film o serie prodotto nel nostro paese è stato preso in considerazione per le varie categorie. Ora c’è da sperare che Fuocoammare di Gianfranco Rosi, che non poteva essere candidato perché ai Golden Globe non è prevista la categoria documentari, possa avere successo agli Oscar.
