GRAMMY AWARDS 2019 VINCITORI – Si è svolta nella notte tra domenica 10 e lunedì 11 febbraio la cerimonia di premiazione dei Grammy Awards 2019, gli “Oscar della musica” arrivati ormai alla loro edizione numero 61.
È stato spettacolo puro allo Staples Center di Los Angeles, grazie alle esibizioni dal vivo dei vari artisti e alla grande attesa per i nomi dei vincitori nelle tantissime categorie – 84 in tutto – dei Grammy, condotti quest’anno da Alicia Keys.
Le artiste donne si sono rivelate autentiche dominatrici del grammofono d’oro: basti pensare che il premio come Miglior disco dell’anno è andato a “Golden Hour”, di Kacey Musgraves, vincitrice anche di altre tre statuette. Tre premi anche per Lady Gaga, grazie a “Shallow“, colonna sonora del film A star is born. La cantante di New York ha pianto citando Bradley Cooper, regista e compagno di set, assente alla cerimonia a causa dei premi BAFTA 2019 (gli Oscar inglesi), a Londra.
Altro mattatore della serata è stato senza dubbio Childish Gambino, vincitore del grammofono d’oro per la Canzone dell’anno con la sua “This is America”. Il rapper ha vinto anche altri tre premi.
Si diceva, però, delle donne: la star rivelazione è stata Dua Lipa, mentre Cardi B è entrata nella storia come prima donna ad aggiudicarsi il premio nella categoria album rap, con la sua “Invasion of Privacy”, rompendo così il dominio maschile in quel genere musicale.
Tanti gli artisti di primo livello che si sono esibiti sul palco, pur non essendo in gara: Ricky Martin, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez.
Ad animare la serata anche una splendida Michelle Obama. L’ex first lady è infatti salita sul palco (qui il video) con Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Jada Pinkett Smith e la conduttrice Alicia Keys, raccontando di come la musica le sia stata sempre d’aiuto per raccontare la propria storia.
